Five days of camping feels like a lot when you are 1/2 way through the trip. But the day before you need to pack up and leave you always wish you could stay a few days longer!
We love camping at Fort Stevens so much that we’ve decided we need to start scheduling two trips a year- June AND July! The kids love the place for all the bike riding, Junior Ranger programs, Amphitheater activities, the playground, the trails, etc. They were always keeping busy.
Some of the sites are very woodsy and dark, and some are bright and open, there’s something for everyone. I recommend taking a drive through the park and checking out the various sites before reserving one.
