If you follow me on Facebook, then you’ve already seen this. But for those of you who haven’t… (and also because remember- this blog is a way for me to organize my thoughts and ‘stuff’ and keep track of things for future reference)….

Last year, Bob (Jim’s dad) was approached about doing a story about battling cancer, the bond of friendship, and being able to hunt with a couple who opens their ranch for handicap hunts.  That story was finally published this past weekend!

It’s a very touching story- and I’m proud of how it came together.

I was also surprised to learn that there’s a video that was created, from the 2010 hunt that Trevor and Jim went on!   They are in the video!  It was Trevor’s first time to go hunting and he thought it was an amazing experience and he was glad to have that special time with Papa Bob.  He wanted to go again this year, but we never made any effort to make it happen, which I feel bad about.
