Last week, after spending ten hours on soccer fields some soccer-friends invited us to join them for dinner on our way back home from West Linn.  They had planned to go to the “Szechuan Kitchen” in Lake Oswego, and we enjoy Chinese food too, so we happily agreed to join them.  First off, the food was AMAZING.  Absolutely delicious with great texture and flavor and it was simply perfect.  Worth the drive, I will definitely go back!  The ten of us shared a variety of plates: Chicken Lo Mein, Beef Chow Fun, Orange Chicken, Kung Pao Chicken, Fried Rice, Steamed White Rice, and we all had some tea as well.  The bill came to $90 including tip- so not bad at all for ten people!  That was before our friend put down a $25 Gift Certificate….which she said she only paid a couple dollars for!

www.Restaurant.com.  I’ve heard of them, but Jim and I don’t go out to eat much so I never really checked out the website.  I looked at the website the next day and yes, there are a few restaurants on there that we would eat at.  Most of the offers online show $25 Gift Certificates for $10 or $15.  Looks like a good deal.  But I didn’t buy anything.
