Thank you Denise for the reminder to post a Shape-Ups update!
I’m still wearing my shape-ups about 3-4 days a week (full-days). I haven’t been wearing them on the treadmill though, because I’ve been doing routines that include running and the Shape-Ups are not designed for running (says that on the literature). But I do still wear them during the daytime.
I do think my thighs and glutes are firmer, especially the back of my thighs and the upper area of my glutes. But I haven’t noticed any weight loss (could be all that Easter candy I was eating, then birthday cakes, and everything else my sugar-tooth craves!).
I’m not disappointed in the shoes at all, on the contrary I do really believe they help with overall muscle tone and fitness.
I’m currently debating if I should take them to Disneyland as my all-day walking shoe. Sure, I wear them all day here, but I’m not walking several miles. They are comfortable, so I’m not worried about that, I’m more worried about increased muscle fatigue. Although I have read articles online that claim they SHOULD be worn in that type of situation! But then I’ve also read articles that support the increased muscle fatigue and say they should NOT be worn in that situation.
I think I’ll take them, and wear them to Universal Studios as my “trial” day. I think the key when visiting Disneyland and other theme parks is to not wear the same pair of shoes ALL day, or at least not 2 days in a row.
Anyway, here are some blogs and forums where people have discussed their experience with Shape-Ups (just for your entertainment I suppose)!

So I’ve decided NOT to take them to Disneyland. I’ve been wearing them yesterday and today, and I just don’t think my legs could handle them at this point. So good ‘ol Nike’s it is!
