I have an addiction to warm beverages this time of year. I normally only drink one coffee each morning, but lately I’m finding that when it’s gone, I want another one.   For a while, I just made a second latte- decaffeinated- and that sufficed.  But the past couple days I’m needing a warm beverage past 8:00.  

I think I have a solution!

This morning after my first cup of coffee was gone, I refilled my mug with hot water, a couple drops of lemon and two (frozen but fresh) mint leaves.  Ahhhh…..soothing. 

It fills my need to drink something warm, has no calories, and helps hydrate me better than a decaffeinated coffee would!
